Taxonomy

Explanation:
There are beliefs by some that even minerals and rocks have their own 'consciousness' and life-cycle.
Metazoans I believe make up the animal phylum.

A reference to taxonomy

Les Métazoaires is plural so it could be relevant to part of a taxonomic classification

--------------------------------------------------

Metazoa - multicellular animals having cells differentiated into tissues and organs and usually a digestive cavity and nervous system (Animal Kingdom)
A taxonomic classification goes over differences of structure and morphology.

In light of being specific to vertebrates.. maybe

"taxonomic classification of vertebrates"

disagree  Cetacea: "taxonomy" is "taxonomie" in French; absolutely nothing to do with "plan d'organisation".

-> At this point in time without further context I shall leave this open. I just realized it is specific to vertebrates though.
