L’église abbatiale

Elle mesure 56 mètres de long et 10 mètres de large.
1 La façade est ornée d’une rose à sept pointes et d’un portail dont le style des personnages sculptés révèle l’époque d’achèvement du chantier,
le début du XIVe siècle.
2 La nef est d’un gothique très pur, celui de la deuxième moitié du XIIIe siècle, remarquable par son *élan* et ses grandes baies étroites, hautes de huit mètres. Son dépouillement est caractéristique de l’architecture cistercienne.
Ainsi, des glaces claires ont-elles été préférées pour évoquer les vitraux anciens, sans doute dénués de motifs colorés à l’origine.
