"Ce que j'appelle la " profondeur " des tapis, c'est la quantité d'argent présente devant les joueurs au début d'une donne."

Ik heb "tapis profond" in het Engels teruggevonden als "deep stack". Maar is dit de correcte term in het Nederlands?

volgens mij bedoelt men hier de grootte van de stack, dit is het aantal chips dat elke individuele speler voor zich heeft liggen op het ogenblik dat de kaarten gedeeld worden. Als een speler veel chips heeft liggen, dan heeft die een "deep stack"; spelers die al veel chips kwijt zijn, hebben een "short" of "small" stack.
Wel opletten met "deep stack", want zo wordt een bepaalde variant van Texas Hold 'em ook genoemd...
