moerplanten Language variant: uitgangsmateriaal Explanation: Vanuit de context 'production de semences' lijkt het of het hier gaat om moerplanten. Gebruik van moerplanten kan er voor zorgen dat de zaadproductie 'zaadvast' is. De normale franse vertaling voor een moerplant is, voor zover ik weet, echter 'plante-mère' of 'pied-mère' (laatstgenoemde met name als de vermeerdering vegetatief via wortelstokken plaatsvindt). Daarnaast is er een meer algemene benaming voor het basismateriaal dat wordt gebruikt voor generatieve of vegetatieve vermeerdering: 'uitgangsmateriaal'. Wellicht past dit beter in deze situatie.
