moi Explanation: moi is my preferred option, but I guess the strictly correct official way to say hello is "hei" - it's too Swedish to my taste tho. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 4 mins (2006-04-06 22:26:20 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Moikka, terve, heippa, moro.... options are endless... depends how relaxed or up-tight you want to be. I don't do uptight... especially 10 minutes after I've just won a pub quiz and I'm completely trollied! -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 6 mins (2006-04-06 22:28:35 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- p.s. I'm the smartest man alive! Who else can pick up the theme tune to Dempsey and Makepeace (Taistelupari) after all this time and win the quiz! I wonder if I can delete this tomorrow when I realize what a moron I really am. |

Hei Explanation: Hei is the best all over the country, moi is actually slang and very casual and not suitable for anyhting but vary casual conversation. Hei is the best, pronounced "hey" . Another word would be TERVE, which means hello and is less familiar and slangish than moi. |
