Persian (Farsi) term or phrase: کون لق کسی
Greetings,

I have been invited to join a cause aimed at removing a Facebook page.
Here is the wording:
می خواهیم که صفحه "کون لق کوروش کبیر" را حذف کند .
Please give the pronunciation too and let me know of any extra kasres.

Naturally, I shall mark this as potentially offensive. I have full confidence in my friend’s judgement, but, no matter how unpleasant, I think that as a matter of principle I ought to know exactly what it means before I call for its removal.

Best wishes, and many thanks,

Simon

to hell with....
Explanation:
Hardly something that Facebook will respond to...certainly not incendiary...I see only 461 "likes" at the Facebook site...just a few sentences about nationalism, designed to irritate many Iranians...this kind of "protest" will give it more attention than it deserves...it seems to have been there since August and no one has noticed it until now.

not giving a shit (about somebody/something)

"to screw somebody (for something)" is also used :
you can find it here:
http://aryaadib.blogfa.com/post-564.aspx

http://www.farsi123.com/?word=screw

In this case, it has nothing to do with sexual connotations! It means to "forget about someone and not to pay attention to him, deeming him as unimportant". Anyway, I think this equivalent suites here better; just as:
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=I don't ...

*In this phrase there is a "kasre" after all words (except the last one).

Other options:
- not give a damn
not give a monkey's

All meaning: "not care, not mind, not be interested, not be concerned"
