Persian (Farsi) term or phrase: بچه‌ی نیک روزگار
Greetings,

In my slang dictionary بچه‌ی نیک روزگار is listed as meaning ‘kind person’, but I thought that نیک was more like ‘good’ than ‘kind’.

All the best, and many thanks,

Simon

one good fellow/folk
Explanation:
Here بچه‌ does not refer to any kid. It's a slang that grownups use to complement their friends. It means that person is/was a good person.

eg: Tell me, like one good fellow to another, is there any one else that you care for?
