Persian (Farsi) term or phrase: گربه کوره
Greetings,

Is this expression correct, please? According to a dictionary of slang it means ‘ungrateful’, but shouldn't ‘کوره’ be ‘کور’?

Is there a kasre between the words, please?

All the best, and many thanks,

Simon

the final "h" sound in کوره is as سگه، the ه is a definite article: the dog, the bear, etc.

BTW, کور is an adjective here and ه is attached to the adjective!

Explanation:
I cannot find the English equivalent; but I know in Persian we don't put a kasreh between the two words; we say gorbe koure

Explanation:
Literally means blind cat, but Dehkhoda defines it as:
گربه کوره . [ گ ُ ب َ/ ب ِ رَ / رِ ] (اِ مرکب ) رجوع به گربه ٔ کور شود.

گربه ٔ کور. [گ ُ ب َ / ب ِ ی ِ ] (ترکیب وصفی ، اِ مرکب ) کنایه از آدم محیل و فریبکار و حقه باز است . رجوع به گربه شود
