Persian (Farsi) term or phrase: به بر
This is from a poem by Forough Farrokhzad.

Hug

Explanation:
I think "hug" better fits the context because we have "تنگ گرفته است به بر" in the Persian text. According to the following definitions, I suggest "Hug".

Hug: Squeeze (someone) tightly in one's arms, typically to express affection. Embrace: Hold (someone) closely in one's arms, esp. as a sign of affection

The words "Squeeze" and "Tightly" are stronger words, compared to "Hold" and "Closely".
