First of all, am I right in thinking that the final ی in the word ‌کاهی makes کاه into an adjective? If not I apologize as in that case the expression is really پَرِ‌کاه with an indefinite ی. Or could it be the special ی which comes before که (omitted here) as in مردی که میخواهد با آن زن ازدواج کند etc.

The full sentence:
چرا پَرِ‌کاهی را در چشم برادرت می‌بینی، امّا از چوبی که در چشم خود داری غافلی؟
