x-day release release if booking not confirmed x days before reserved date Explanation: I believe this means that the pre-rsereved rooms can be 'released' for other customers if the pre-reservation has not been confirmed by x number of days before the first date. So for the week days, there is a great deal of demand, so the pre-reservations will not be kept open once it gets close to the frist booking date, thus freeing off the rooms for letting to other customers; presumbly there is less demand at weekends, and in any case, bookings may be for only 1 or 2 nights, hence a shorter deadline may be accepted. This IS only a vague hunch, so you really ought to try and check if you can! |
