Difficult regulation of pieces of land Explanation: Since we're talking Boston, we have to look at how it's done in the US. "Zoning" in the US refers to a designation of what a piece of land may be used for. This could be residential, commercial, agricultural, and I've probably forgotten some - I haven't practiced real estate in many years. From your question, I understand that the zoning in Boston, and the zoning laws, which the zoning is based on, are tough. That is, the requirements to get a specific zoning are stringent. |
