This looks like an extremely bad machine translation into English, possibly a back translation of a text that was originally in English, then machine translated into language X and back into a mangled pseudo-English. I suggest the original of "in the sake of God, with the face of this congregation" was "in the sight of God, before this congregation", or the more official and archaic version:
From the Book of Common Prayer: "Dearly beloved, we are gathered together here in the sight of God, and in the face of this Congregation, to join together this man and this woman in holy Matrimony"
