the abnormal course of porphyrin synthesis in pyroluria pyrrolics Pyroluria Explanation: You certainly get some interesting ones! I would tend to stick with the name of the disorder - Pyroluria/Pyrrole Disorder - rather than the term used for the sufferers which I believe to be 'pyrrolics' (apparently). I must confess to never having heard of it. I've seen no direct references to abnormality in porphyrin synthesis in the context but in synthesis of heme/haem which is a porphyrin molecule. Sorry. Interesting question. Pyroluria or any of the other names for this condition, simply means people who do not genetically metabolise certain nutrients, mainly zinc and B6, very well. This is then linked to mental health issues, allergies and more besides. Example sentence(s):
