as I said in my comment to Katalin, "clear" normally means translucent but here it would not be a good marketing ploy as the scratch needs to be covered so best to just say it doesn't leave a mark/blends well with the exisitng paintwork

agree  Katalin Horváth McClure: Yeah, in other words, it is translucent.//It is precisely see-through. Look up other explanations, not just the youtube. "Clear" means see-through, like water. This pen only helps with light scratches, not with deep ones when the undercoat is exposed.
