It's a little difficult to tell without more context, but it sounds like to me that "build to" is being used as a synonym for "produce", because it is being used in conjunction with a production chart. For example, if there is a column that says "build to", and has a quantity under it, it means, "produce the product until it [the stock level] reaches this quantity." A "suggested build-to" would mean, a suggested quantity to produce until. We used this "build to" phrase when I worked at an automotive manufacturing plant. ˆÓ–¡‚Í |
