It's no joke. Explanation: Trust shouldn't be part of the definition. Seems like a joke, but the problem is that the only way you can have any kind of security these days is by having trust. You can't check that your security systems are secure. You just gotta trust those who made them. This problem is so profound that security has become trust. Trust is part of the definition. Trust is everything. In a world where you need security systems because you can't trust anybody, your security systems are based on trust. Sounds like a bad joke, but this is the reality of today. |
