Hello everyone,

The winning companies of tomorrow will be those that make their customers feel the best, even if those customers are paying more for the privilege. This isn’t just a circumstance that’s true in consumer products, travel, and hospitality either.

I'm not sure I understand correctly what "This isn’t just a circumstance that’s true" means and because of this the whole sentence sounds somewhat vague to me.

Does the last sentence mean that the winning companies will win thanks to the customer service they provide and not due to some random circumstances?

agree  Charles Davis: Alas, there is tons of this stuff around. // I would claim it's right, actually. "Tons of" colloquially means a large amount and when followed by an uncountable noun takes a singular verb. Would you say "there are tons of work to be done"?
