English term or phrase: village bread
Hello,

The complete name of the dish (from the Pasta & Risotto" section) is:
*Selection of Italian cold cuts, served with mini-grilled village bread bruschetta and breadsticks*

I wonder whether *village bread* refers to a specific type of bread (but I couldn't find much supporting information on the Web). Could it nevertheless be a synonym of *farmhouse bread*?

Otherwise, should it be understood literally, ie *bread from the village* or *local bread*. Another dish is "market fish of the day", which shows that this restaurant is sourcing local products.

What do you think?

Thank you very much

farm bread, local bread

Explanation:
to my knowledge, living 20 km away from Italy and eating in Italy very often, this is simply local bread, farmhouse bread, home-baked bread .... take your pick.

Just another, more original way of playing the "homely" marketing card.
