I'm proofreading a label of a specific product (herbal sauce). The current version reads:

Keep in dry place, at temp. 0ºC to +18ºC. After opening keep at a temp. of approx. +4ºC.

I just wonder how the above would customarily be expressed. Personally I would go for something like:

Store in a dry place at a 0ºC to +18ºC (32ºF to 64ºF). Keep refrigerated (+4ºC / 39ºF) after opening.

Any comments much appreciated

Selected answer:keep/store (in a place) - keep refrigerated
Explanation:
Keep or store in a place is just fine.

Usually we say "keep refrigerated", with the meaning of "keep" being analogous to "maintain".

agree  Alexander Demyanov: I'd say the existing version is fine: strore in a ...place, keep refrigerated

agree  Tony M: 'store' is what I'm more used to seeing on such labels, along with 'keep refrigerated', or just 'refrigerate after opening', which you see quite a lot too

neutral  Tony M: Not really very natural or idiomatic English, I'm afraid. / The 2 'temperatures' are cumbersome and not really necessary; but it's mainly the wrong preposition 'with' which sounds odd (we'd more usually say AT a temperature)

-> would it be natural if I omitted the 2 "temperature"s? // thank you Tony
