"Price includes all screeds inside the building except screeds under tiling..... Material should be in adequacy with the screed thickness, and room floor finish"

According to this I assumed these were decorative wooden or plastic screeds as bonding agent is mentioned as well (bonding agents, in accordance with screed product thicknes and manufacturers specs...), saw cutting mentioned as well, but later on in the text it says:

...supply and installation of all still reinforcement (wire mesh).....
then again " xxxx is responsible for acheiving floor finish level.....survey the floor slab before screeding...and allow other trades to circulate on the screeds....

Sequence of work is:
1. Handover of concrete Slab
2. Slab remedial works
3. Barricading screening area, and cleaning prior to starting
4. Waterproof and testing
5. Surface preparation and bonding agent
6. Screed
7. Screed survey
8. Hand over to floor finish subcontractor

All given, I don't believe they are talking screeding the concrete, however I am still confused... Is it only covering edges with some sort of wooden or plastic screeds or it may refer to cover the entire floor surface, e.g hardwood floor, tiles or similar?

I don't understand why you think that a screed might be wooden or plastic. A screed is a thin finishing and levelling layer of cement mortar laid on the concrete slab (in this case). Screeds can be either bonded or unbonded. I suggest you might usefully do some research on this subject area.

I don't know what technical references you have that imply screed may be wooden or plastic, but your text couldn't be clearer (other than the obvious typo "screening"). NB "8. Hand over to floor finish subcontractor" i.e. first the floor slab is screeded and then it is handed over for tiling, floating floor or whatever other decorative finish is required.

Asker: Thank you Finch for all of your help. I thought of that first of course. However, I am translating the text into Croatian and my technical references on screed are very confusing, as many have used it for different finishing work.
