Explanation:
This Urdu alternate is very common in the concerned Urdu speaking circles. In a fire range the trainess/recruits have to demonstrate their shooting skills with actual bullets. They shoot in a competition and have to fire a set number of bullets on the target. Their target is assumed to be a moon, so the Urdu term "chand mari" is used. This is not a word to word translation but explains the source term fully in its context.
