goodbye serious الوداع سنجیدہ طرز Explanation: My first impulse was to translate "serious" as سنجیدگی, but the explanatory note at the end clearly states that this "serious" does not mean "seriousness", i.e. سنجیدگی...so keeping in mind their explanation I'm suggesting "سنجیدہ طرز" ...since only using سنجیدہ doesn't fit the tone either...and the phrase would be incomprehensible in Urdu. |

goodbye serious الوداع یکسانیت Explanation: This is a market slogan so it should be translated as a marketing tagline. I think this suggestion is as close to the source meaning as possible. The whole translation would be such as: الوداع یکسانیت: والز وہ برانڈ ہے جو زندگی میں خوشی اور شادمانی کی راہ میں حائل رکاوٹوں کو "الوداع" کہتا ہے۔ -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 day18 mins (2013-05-06 21:23:08 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Dear Aiquzzaman Thanks for your thoughts. Sorry for delay as my schedule did not allow me to post earlier. I hope this would still be some use to you and hope you choose this one to help other translators in the future usage |
