"زیر آب" سامنے آئے گا۔ مگر اگر خصوصی طور پر اسے فائنانس یعنی مالیات کے پس منظر میں اس کا جائزہ لیا جائے تو اس کے معانی "گروی شدہ اثاثوں کی مالیت میں کمی ہونے کے ہیں"۔ اردو زبان میں اس اصطلاح کے لئے کوئی لفظ موجود نہیں ہے اسی لئے میں نے اس کے معانی وہی "زیرِ آب " ہی تجویز کیئے ہیں۔ Example sentence(s):
Explanation: جس طرح انگریزی زبان میں میں گروی شدہ اثاثوں کی مالیت میں کمی کے لئے صرف ایک لفظ UNDERWATER عام ہوگیا ہے، اسی طریقہ سے ہم بھی اسی مقصد کے لئے لفظ "زیر آب" استعمال کرسکتے ہیں، مگر چونکہ اردو زبان کے اس لفظ کو کوئی بین الاقوامی حیثیت حاصل نہینں ہے اس لئے عام لوگ اسے سمجھ نہیں پائیں گے، اس لئے بہتر یہی ہے کہ جہاں جہاں زیر آب لکھا جائے وہاں بریکٹ میں "گروی شدہ اثاثوں کی مالیت میں کمی" بھی تحریر کر دیا جائے۔ اگر ہم اردو میں نئے الفاظ نہیں بنائیں گے تو کبھی بھی ہم لوگ اس قسم کی تکنیکی اصطلاحات کا ترجمہ اپنی زبان میں نہیں پیش کر سکتے۔ |
