sirke sandığın belki baldır Explanation: "come to scoff and remain to pray (prey değil)" deyimi ilk olarak İrlandalı şair Oliver Goldsmith'in "The Deserted Village" adlı şiirinde geçmiş. Dizenin orijinali "And fools, who came to scoff, but remained to pray". "Ve hor gören bir edayla gelen budalalar, kalıp dua ettiler." Bu sözü Adsız Alkolikler de "onun küçümseyen tavırlarına aldırma, belki kalıp dua eder," mealinde kullanıyorlar. Bu eserde ise, sözün özgün halinde geçen "pray" (dua etmek) yerine "prey" (avını yemek) şeklinde kullanılmış, belki restoranla ilgili olduğu içindir. Burada ima edilen, "insan bilmediği bir şeyi küçümseyebilir, hor görebilir, ama tanıyınca sevebilir," olabilir. "Sirke sandığın belki baldır" lafını bağlama göre ben uydurdum.
