I went first with the most basic process of encoding-decoding simbology, as in I think of a dog, then I have to encode the concept into the word "dog", then I speak the word "dog" and listener "reads" or listens to it and finally "decodes" the word into the concept of a dog (the same thought that speaker had in the first place).
