Asker: gracias David, estoy buscando algo más neutral, no tiene que ser argentino y tampoco quiero poner simplemente feliz, porque el personaje dice esta frase varias veces, entonces habría que mantener la metáfora me parece. No pasa nada si no la mantengo pero se pierde algo en la traducción. ¿No te parece?

Explanation:
I know "de puta madre" sounds quiet like slang, but I'll say this is what most of people would answer exept if they are from top society or old. So i'd say it's important to know who's speaking here... If he is a part of those 2 categories mentioned before, then he could say "encantado de la vida"

Se hace referencia al vino (presupongo que se hace referencia al buen vino). El buen vino con el tiempo aumenta su buqué, se potencian sus propiedades y aumenta su valor. Al menos en España, a la pregunta de ¿Cómo estás? se suele utilizar la frase “Como el buen vino, cada día mejor”, y también, “Como el buen vino, con los años mejoro”.
