medición de la distancia alveolar Explanation: It's the act of meassuring a screw for an implant so that you make sure you have the right amount of bone available. Here's a description of the procedure in English: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/2599580 I have asked my wife which is a dentist and she says that "mapeo crestal" might be just a spanglish term (mapeo doesn't exist on Spanish even though it's used for some other activities such as software developing and graphic design). She says the expression can be simply paraphrased and that a good option would be "medición de la distancia alveolar" |
