Hola! quiero estar segura de cómo se traduce. Creo que es "placa", but just in case...

The director is explaining how special effects and techniques can be used to create different landscapes.

The seaport town was shot in two locations. One was at Kalk Bay, off the boat, and the second was on Ottery, off the set. This is the first +++++plate +++++of the boat against green screen, and this is the ++++++plate +++++that we shot on set, in Ottery, of the actual seaport town. We had to comp them together to create a sellable environment, which ultimately came out to be this.
So here's the seaport town village, which has been scaled down to fit into the comp that we wanted. The boat has also been scaled down and moved over to the left.
