English term or phrase: indel calls
This is from a text on cancer genome. I'm not sure how to tranlate "indel calls"

"Unable to detect gene copy number changes and SVs. Certain NGS platforms exhibit platform-specific artifacts, such as false positive insertion, deletion, and indel calls. Also, if the bioinformatics analyses are not optimized, these variants can also be missed..."

I've found that "calls" could be tendencias, but I don't think that word applies to this context.

I'd really appreciate any help you can provide.

Spanish translation:inferir tendencias indel
Explanation:
Insertions/deletions (indels) are the second most common type of genomic variant and the most common type of structural variant. New sequencing technologies, such as deep sequencing, allow massive throughput of sequence data and greatly contribute to the field of disease causing mutation detection, in general, and indel detection, specifically. To infer indel presence is called "indel calling", so I think your option of "tendencias" is not bad at all. I would use "inferir tendencias indel"
