Diría yo.

Una cosa es tener "patatas fritas congeladas", que se conservarán 3X tiempo.

Y otra tener "patatas o papas fritas refrigeradas" que tendrán una vida de X/3 tiempo.

Aunque en el segundo enlace "Freeze-Chilled" casi diría "refrigeradas hasta la congelación" o "refrigeradas al punto de congelación".

Creo que ese sería el "punto". Es decir, puedes refrigerar un producto sin congelarlo, pero estas patatas o papas, se "refrigeran congelándolas", o sea que la "refrigeración es máxima"... (como la "exigencia" en el Real Madrid: "aquí la exigencia es máxima", que diría Florentino Pérez).

Y ahora que veo el enlace de Miguel Ángel, "chilled" a secas será "refrigeradas", sin más.
