Challenge Task

English term or phrase: Challenge Task
Students are given an activity / task to complete. For each task, there will also be a "challenge task" that is a degree higher in difficulty than the baseline task. This is a method of differentiation.

I am looking for the proper educational term (in the proposed translation) but am also curious about an appropriate general term that can be used as a heading that students will see and that should be accessible to them (feel free to add in the explanation).

Finally, in your explanations, feel free to suggest functional "translations" that would get this point across in a way that is fun and "dares" students to take the next step. Something like, "un paso más" (although that isn't very engaging).

I will choose the proper educational translation of the term for Kudoz points.

Thanks!
Ariana Kaine
