Can anyone tell me what this would be please. It is from a questionnaire for health care professionals which asks "What should be done if endometrial thickness continues to exceed 16 mm even after discontinuation of treatment and following the first menstrual period after treatment?" One of the options for what to do is "Intervention according to standard of care".
I found this definition of “standard of care” on MedicineNet.com: “Standard of care: 1. A diagnostic and treatment process that a clinician should follow for a certain type of patient, illness, or clinical circumstance. Adjuvant chemotherapy for lung cancer is "a new standard of care, but not necessarily the only standard of care." (New England Journal of Medicine, 2004)” I don’t know what the Slovak term for that would be.... Someone has suggested "podľa štandardnej starostlivosti" but I don't think that "standard of care" is quite the same as "standard care". Can anyone tell me what the standard SK is for "standard of care" - there must be one surely in SK with it being such a common term in English.
