domáce/zahraničné Explanation: Onshore is a term used in finance to denote the jurisdiction in which a company is domiciled and in which it pays a significant rate of tax. It is the opposite of offshore, which denotes a tax haven. Generating profits offshore may have certain tax advantages for companies. offshore (fin. brit.) zahraničné (týkajúce sa obchodu, spoločností a bánk na niektorom samosprávnom ostrove, ktorý je daňovým rajom, napr. na Normanských ostrovoch, na ostrove Man, Kajmanských ostrovoch a na Bahamách): offshore founds = zahraničné investície (t. j. investície v spoločnostiach sídliacich v uvedených oblastiach); offshore banks = zahraničné banky (t. j. banky sídliace v uvedených oblastiach) Anglicko-český ekonomický slovník, J.
