Prema recnicima i enciklopedijama snapper u zoologiji je: 1. Ovo nalazim i u M-W recniku. Moze se naci i naziv AFRICKA RIBA HALAPLJIVICA, jer je izuzetno agresivna, jakih zuba i ostre krljusti.Kidise na mnoge zive vrste, pa je popularno zovu i predator.
