Ako sam dobro razumela, radi se o sanitarno-higijenskim (sanitarno-profilaktičkim, zdravstveno-higijenskim ili sl.) merama koje omogućavaju ponovno korišćenje (reciklažu) otpadnih voda. Pored ovog predloga, možda će vam ovo što piše u “Rečniku ekologije i zaštite životne sredine” (Pešić D. et al.), uz širi kontekst koji imate, dati još i neku bolju ideju:

Sanitation - 1. saniranje, sanacija; 2. oporavak populacije divljih životinja (čiji su oboleli članovi bili pojedeni od strane predatora); 3. zdravstvene mere, sanitarno-profilaktičke mere (sanitarno čišćenje, raskuživanje, dezinfekcija, asanacija, sakupljanje i odstranjivanje otpadaka); 4. sanitarna kontrola; 5. sanitarni uređaji
