Kada je u pitanju jedna mašina - to je crtež na kome se prikazuje mašina, obično u osnovi, sa svim svojim dimenzijama, a kada je u pitanju više mašina to je raspored mašina u skladu sa tehnološkim procesom.
U datom kontekstu već imate 'drawings' - to obuhvata sve crteže, skice i šeme koje se odnose na samu mašinu, tj. njenih delova.
