Na ovaj način je pripremno vreme toliko skraćeno, da neki autori smatraju da se ovde radi o nultom pripremnom vremenu (en. zero lead time).

agree  Vesna Maširević: U praksi se ovaj termin svakako koristi u smislu "vremena isporuke"- kada se roba poruči, koliko je dobavljaču potrebno vremena da je isporuči (mora se uzeti u obzir pri vođenju politike zaliha)
