Vijak sa plastičnom deformacijom Explanation: Prilikom pritezanja vijaka glave motora doazi do elastične deformacije stabla vijka usled sile istezanja. Sa daljim povećanjem sile stablo vijka se plastično deformiše obezbeđujući time pouzdano zaptivanje između glave i bloka motora. Kod ovog tipa vijaka nije potrebno naknadno dotezanje vijaka posle nekoliko stotina kilometara.
