The top left quadrant should be Direct/Open, the top right Indirect/Open, the bottom left Direct/Closed and the bottom right Indirect/Closed. These will represent the four behavioural styles.The two Closed types are soulmates and the two Open types are soulmates. In each soulmate relationship one person is direct and the other is indirect with very rare exceptions. So each romantic soulmate partnership consists of both either being Open or both being Closed, while one is direct and the other is indirect.Open people do not mind revealing personal information and so the two Opens get along well together. Closed people do not like revealing personal information and they get along well together, but they do not mix well because they are too different and almost never become long term romantic partners because the conversations between the two are not alike. Open people like to talk about feelings and emotions while Closed people like to speak about facts, success and competition so the two are not very compatible except in a social environment.Direct people are leaders and have loud, clear voices while indirect people are followers and speak softly most of the time. The Direct person likes to talk and the indirect person likes to listen which is why the opposites get along very well in long term relationships.
