4.3 TECHNICAL NOTES ON RECORDING
The CONTRACTOR shall guarantee that the following operations are performed before, during and after recording:

- Before and after calibration checks for those tools that require it.
- Calibration Reports must be presented on the analog print (Surface, After and Before Survey checks, shop Calibration Summaries).
- Recording with an overlap of at least 50 m with the last recording, when this is possible;
- Before Main Log, performing a Repeat section of sufficient length to check the depth matching between the various log curves;
- Recording, accordingly to the decision of the COMPANY’s Representative, one or more Repeat sections in the zones where measurements recorded during the Main Log are to be checked. The Repeat Section shall be recorded in the same way as the Main Log (same speed, time constants and scales) within intervals of major interest, and according to the COMPANY’s Representative request, and shall also include at least a depth mark.
- A Log Quality Worksheet shall also be included at the back end of the log, containing comments on:

> data presentation
> tool calibration
> operating techniques
> data quality
