Возможно они предсказывали/прогнозировали значения этих количественных показателей, исходя из каких-то других характеристик пациентов (диагноза?), а потом сравнивали с реальными и точно так же анализировали остатки?

Asker: Ну этот вариант я знаю, я его назвал "невязками" пока, я бы его и оставил, но абсолютно не понял фразы в последнем предложении: transformed quantitative clinical measurement residuals. Как можно анализировать связь со статистической ошибкой, пусть и с преобразованной, измеряемых клинических показателей?
