Опять шутка из QI (британское развлекательное шоу со Стивеном Фраем). Говорят о Ван Гоге:

- He was not a happy bunny. The reason he cut his ear was that he'd had a violent...
- It was a bit more than that. I mean, he was seriously mentally ill, rather than not a happy bunny.
- Not-a-happy-bunny syndrome.

Понятно, что happy bunny - это человек, который всё время улыбается и всем доволен, но как бы это более ёмко выразить? И с отрицанием ещё. Спасибо!

neutral  sas_proz: "Невесельчак" - это, пожалуй, перебор в словообразовании :) Кроме того, речь идет не столько о свойстве характера, сколько о жизненных обстоятельствах. Not a happy bunny - тот, кто чем-то недоволен, кому не повезло.
