The secret of hay-bathing is the so called
"warming up" of hay by a fermentation process activated by the schizomiceti which have their ideal habitat in hay, especially in one the Dolomites Alps, rich in leaves, blossoms and wild herbs.
They say that the Dolomites hay is particularly "fat", and some officinal herbs, such as alchimilla, artemisia, Bermuda grass, festuca, lavender, darnel and valerian help the fermentation process, increasing temperatures to 40-60°.

The hay bath
An hour before the treatment, the Alpine dry hay (3-4 kg per person) is immersed into a pail of hot water in order to regenerate the herbs and release the active elements for the body.
To take a hay bath, the guest lies down on a disposable foil sheet spread with warm, damp hay. Then more hay is laid on top of the body, up to chin level (about 3 to 4 kg of hay per person). The foil sheet is then wrapped snugly around the guest's body, and, by means of a hydraulic mechanism, he or she is lowered onto a water bed heated from below. The temperature remains at about 42°C, which is good for the heart and the circulation.
The guest perspires in the hay bath for 20 minutes. Warm and the invigorating effect on the skin give a pleasant sensation, according to what the "bathers" say. After the hay bath, the guest moves to the rest room, where, wrapped into linen and blankets, he spend the reaction and rest period.
The hay bath, besides the traditional benefits, offers also many relaxing effects: it is a precious treatment which helps stressed people to find again the contact with nature with important benefits for the physique.

сухие сборы (лекарственных растений)

Explanation:
