“Look you, sir” said I, “if I venture upon your deliverance, are you willing to make two conditions with me?” (Defoe, 2000: 220)

Buna ziua.
Trebuie sa fac o analiza a felului in care s ar traduce verbul de perceptie (look) in limba romana. Fraza este extrasa din romanul Robinson Crusoe al lui Defoe. In romanul in rom, look you nu s a tradus iar in franceza a fost tradus cu "Ecoutez".
As dori care sa stiu care ar fi traducerea corecta daca alegem sa nu omitem aceasta forma si daca se mai intalneste in engleza contemporana.

Utilizarea acestei sintagme, din cate stiu, eu nu prea mai este de actualitate. Posibil insa sa mai fie intalnita in scrieri literare.
