agree  Dan Topor: Folia termocontractibilă este folia în care se ambalează flacoanele de apă, de ex. Folia extensibilă este folia cu care se ambalează paletul cu produse.

  -> Multumesc pentru detalii, Dan. De asta am sugerat "termocontractibil" doar ca alternativa, pentru ca din contextul prezentat nu parea sa fie nevoie de sigilare, deci folia extensibila ar fi alegerea fireasca.
