Existe uma vantagem de pintar e deixar a tinta secar sob a luz do sol:

The Old Masters did a strange thing, (“strange” from our contemporary ignorant perspective) – they dried their fresh paintings, done with Linseed Oil, in the sunlight, in order to avoid yellowing and browning of the Oil; as well to dramatically accelerate drying time of the layers. In this way, the sunlight works as a natural Siccative (a natural drying agent). As we already know, each layer of the painting must be well dried, before proceeding to the next one. It’s a requirement.

agree  Beatriz Souza: Eu usaria 'pintura a óleo retratando a luz solar'. -- The French term 'plein air' means out of doors and refers to the practice of painting entire finished pictures out of doors. (https://www.tate.org.uk). Pintura a óleo ao ar livre. beatriz_souza
