Não sei se faz qualquer sentido no seu contexto, mas encontrei este documento que se refere a "intake" como um processo utilizado quando não há nenhum parente para reclamar o corpo do defunto. Seja "Section 3": https://dhhr.wv.gov/bcf/Documents/Unclaimed_Deceased_Adult_B...

Resta saber se existe algum grau de parentesco entre o defunto e o/a reclamante do cadáver. Se não houver, penso que a explicação acima pode fazer sentido. De qualquer forma, se levarmos ao pé da letra, "intake" é um termo fora de contexto, não pode indicar um tipo de relação/parentesco! Eu esperaria encontar coisas do tipo: "son", "daughter", "nephew", "friend", etc. Parece-me que se trata de um caso excepcional.

Informant = person completing the form
Relationship = what is the relationship between the deceased and the person completing the form.

Thanks again. My doubt was only if this person could also be the informant of the death because on the death certificate there are several items. One is: name of informant and the other is: relationship with deceased and they wrote: intake.

She is an informant, however I don't believe that title exists... I guess you would need to decide if you want to use the job tittle or the relationship...

Hi, jarel, thanks for your help. But this person who receives the body at the Coroner's office may also be the informant? because that is what she is.
