English term or phrase: make and serve
I'm translating an academic transcript, which obviously has a list of modules studied.

The module title is:

"Modern manufacturing - integrated design, make and serve"

This is the transcript for a course of "Master in Engineering in Aerospace Engineering" and translation is for Angola.

Any help will be very much appreciated.

produção e serviços
Explanation:
Not my take, of course, but that of University of Bath:

"Understand the close relationship between design, production and service in modern industry"

"To introduce the students to the holistic view of modern industry from design, to making the products and providing logistical and support services throughout their lifecycle."

agree  Antonio Chagas: "design, make and serve" são as três fases do processo industrial: concepção, produção e pós-produção (ou serviço).

disagree  Marlene Curtis: "Serve" has nothing to do with sales. See the context at http://www.bath.ac.uk/catalogues/2009-2010/me/ME20026.htm
