In 2015 we have evaluated the status of glaucoma diagnostics and care in Europe.
In all 18 countries within Europe who have responded there are generic glaucoma medications on the market.
In only two out of 18 countries the prescribing doctor may only prescribe the molecule, otherwise they have the option to choose the brand name.
In no country the dispending person is allowed to switch within the group to a similar molecule (e.g.: instead of Latanoprost dispending tafluprost; “out simile rule”).

Może być naniesiony za pomocą nadruku jak również dopisany przez lekarza.

Zgodnie z zapisami rozporządzenia Ministra Zdrowia z dnia 8 marca 2012 roku w sprawie recept lekarskich (Dz.U.2012.260 z późn. zm.), którego § 3 ust. 3 stanowi: „Jeżeli osoba uprawniona, (…), wystawia receptę dla siebie albo dla małżonka, zstępnych lub wstępnych w linii prostej oraz rodzeństwa, w części recepty przeznaczonej na wpisanie danych dotyczących pacjenta:
1) osoba, o której mowa w art. 2 pkt 14 lit. b ustawy o refundacji - może wpisać,
